Wheel spacers

Would one or two inch wheel spacers for the rear tires hurt anything? Im just looking for somthing to kick them out a little bit, could i use any spacers for the front?

RE: Wheel spacers

I put 1" spacers on front and 2" on rear.I have 99 2WD and the rear are no problem at all and the fronts rub just a little bit when backing and turning all the way. I have 255x70x15 and the stock 5 spoke wheels. I think it looks wider and the way the factory should have done it in the 1st place. Stock has the wheels way too far in, in my opinion. Also I bought the aluminum instead of the steel one and have had no trouble what so ever.A cheap mod for your money.

I have an 05 blazer 2dr 4x4 with 2' aluminum spacers rear and 1.25' front --looks better than a ZR2 in my opinion--and rides WAYYYY better than stock

RE: Wheel spacers

Holy old thread! Good going guys!

Anyway, I would stay away from spacers. Problem with them is they will make you chew through wheelbearings like they are going out of style. The spacers will put much higher loads and moments on the bearings causing increased wear and possibly catastrophic failure.
