Where can I get the "dog leg" panel for my 98 4 door

I have a large rust problem on the front part of the rear fender. I have heard this area called the "dog leg" before. It includes the part of the body that the rear door closes over and the front part of the "lip" of the rear fender. Below is a picture of this area for the 90-94 Blazers. Has anyone bought a replacement panel like this for the second gens?

Thanks for the reply! But unfortunately that link just illustrates the issue. You can see on the first gen, Part #9, this is the part that I need, only I need it for a second gen. As you can see pictured right below is a second gen with no such part, I can't seem to find anyone who manufactures these.

I searched all sources for body panels, and I was unable to find that. I think your only luck would be to cut out and weld in some metal. or find a blazer that is being parted out in your area and cut that area out.

Yep, I just had to cut out the rust and welded in some new sheet metal, then filled in the rest with fiberglass and bondo, not the best way to fix it but it should hold up for a while. Thanks for searching for me.

for the second gen blazer's GM never offered a "dogleg" section. it is only available with the uniside assembly and then will have be cut out and sectioned into the existing uniside. faily common repair here at the body shop. can also buy one used from a junkyard and section it in as well.
