White Jimmy, Black Rims?

Does anyone out there have a white jimmy, mines a 1998, with the stock GMC rims painted black. im debating painting my stock rims black but i just wanna see what it might look like before i do it. that would be sweet.

I personally love the look of a white vehicle with black rims.

Me too, maybe ill just go ahead and do it. but what do you think, just like a matte? or a gloss? im thinking gloss. whats good paint for rims? i know i should probably sand it and prime it maybe right?

For your truck I'd go glossy! Get a quality high temp paint your rims get pretty hot and the more time you spend on proper prep work the better your results will be. The other option is to use plasti dip that way if you decided you don't like it you can remove it!

If you are going the plastic dip route, I would suggest not sanding first. If you don't like it, the dip can be pealed off and you have no further damage.

Thanks guys! i think maybe ill see how much that plasti dip stuff is. is it really easy to get off? even in all the cracks and stuff in the rims? maybe ill give it a try or just go ahead and paint em. i just want them to look good. they look decent now but i cant get them as clean and shiny anymore so i was looking for something new
