Window regulator noise?

The last few months when putting down or up the drivers side window in the jimmy, it makes a gear noise, not the gear slipping (as I have heard that before) but just a heavy gear sound (I can get video later if needed)
it only makes it 4-6" from the top of the door, the rest of the way down is smooth and quiet, and when it gets up to about the last inch or so, its quiet as well.

is there something that I need to lube in there?

You can take the door panel and water shield off, then you will see the regulator and some wheels. Lube up the wheels and the rail that ther run on. Also any other points that move and make contact with something.

While chasing down other door rattles (from the two metal wires that connect the latch and lock) my 2000 4 door just started this today after I removed the trim and plastic sheet and tightened the nut on the lower left regulator mount. the noise is coming from the rivet at the top left mount has worn a bit and the mount moves back and forth and pops when the window is rolled all the way up.
Not sure if the sheet metal of the door panel normally pushes in and out that much.
