window sunshade not sticking

Default window sunshade not sticking

i bought some window sunshade visors, one of the back ones is not sticking on one of the edges(stick on style) has anyone had this problem. can you buy this tape somewhere or not ,if so can the visor just be pulled off and retaped, any help appreciated. also are the ones that go into the window channel better than these ones you tape on . thanks

Yeah, you can buy new double sided tape. For that purpose, I would only recommend 3M double sided automotive tape. You'll probably want the 1/4" wide or 3/8" wide. If you take your visor with you or atleast a peice of the old tape, you can make the appropriate decision.

Remove all of the old tape and adhesive residue with some Goo-Gone or equivalent. Wipe the surfaces that will come in contact with the tape with some wax, grease, adhesive remover to make sure they are good and clean. Then stick it on!
