Default Shaving Side Mirrors

Hey i was wondering if yall knew what i should do to shave my side mirrors, like if you know of a company that makes a peice to put over that area once the mirror is removed or if i make my own what should i make them out of. I already have a mirror in mind, its a NASCAR like rear view mirror, my dad is using in 70 GMC short bed pickup w/ shaved side mirrors, so if you guys got any info just let me know plz.

Default RE: Shaving Side Mirrors

i don't think there is any companies that make a filler for the mirror. if anyone does try suicidedoors.com . i just made my own...it was an easy peice to make. i just cut the triangle shape the right size, but a little longer on the back side to bend it to go behind the window run. then you weld it on, grind it, skim a little filler on it to smooth it out, sand it, prime it, paint it. if you havent done body work before it can be pretty tough. good luck!
