$500 to spend? what to do?

I have a 1997 Chevy S10 blazer, it has a 4.3L. I would like to put as much into performance but to enhance the looks would be nice if i cant put more hp or lift it any more. The onlything i have done is put two 12 inch subs in the back but thats not performance!:icon_speaker1::icon_speaker1:

Cold air intake if not doing heavy offroading.
New plugs and wires.
Exhaust.
Shackles and tbar crank

Thanks any ideas to where or what brand would be the best? for the situation? I already planned on getting plugs and wires. but where would you go to get the best for your money for the cold air intake and exhaust?

Why would a CAI be bad if you are going to do heavy offroading? I do plenty of heavy offroading and have a CAI and no problems.

As to the OP, probably the best mod you can do for a true HP increase is a PCM tune.

Meh.. just saying. If you haven't gotten hydro lock. It doesn't mean noone else has or will

Cold air intake from eBay and make a heatshield yourself ($50 total)
Muffler of your choice ($20-150)
PCM Tune (IDK how much PCM4Less or Wait4Me charge)
See whats left over and get some plugs and/or wires.

stick with the AC Delco brand for plugs, they seem to be the best for these 2nd gen W-codes.

i've always run the Champion Copper Truck plugs in all of my other 4.3's & never had any issues. but when i'm due for my next plug inspection (Autum tune up), i'm gonna try the Copper's, see how she runs, see if it runs better to the current performance level.
