1990 S10 Blazer

Little bit of a budget, however my blazer is my toy. Bunch of mods on the way, however I am just wondering on some performance mods anyone has done to first gen blazers that they could share stories, photos, or videos of to tweak their blazers a little bit...or a lot. Just to clarify, I have a 1990 S10 Blazer Tahoe, 4.3L 262 TBI CPI. First thing I want to do is throw a Vortec TPI on top. New intake manifold. REALLY want to clean up the engine bay and do as many deletes as possible. Just to try and replace one valve cover I have to disconnect the fuel lines, PCV, air filter, alternator, serpentine belt, and almost the master cylinder. Couldn't even fit my edlebrock valve covers on...gave up. Not enough room, too much bull**** all over the place. Would love to replace the heads, push rods, rocker arms...etc, however I want to make some room first. If some interested shows in my thread I will post some pictures of what it looks like under my hood. Don't comment on needing bodywork, it's winter...I'm waiting until it gets warmer. ANY and all suggestions will be considered, thank you.
