4.3 Engine Build

Well in my search of learning more about the 4.3 V6 engine I ran across this 4.3 build build by Hot Rod I found it very interesting and I learned a few things about the 4.3.
Chevy 4.3L 262ci V-6 - Engine Build - Overview - Tech - Hot Rod Magazine

The reason I am digging around for info on the 4.3 because I know with 196k on my Blazer that at some point in time I am going to need to rebuild mine engine. Since this Blazer is my wifes daily driver I'll just stay with the stock 4.3. Because if this was my Blazer to drive it would be getting a 355ci in it. So if I ever get stuck buying her a new SUV I will have my way with this Blazer. But honestly she likes the Blazer and it has been such a dependable vehicle I plan on rebuild or fix things until the doors fall off.

Back to the point about this engine build I would never spend the money they did on a V6. But the write up had some good parts that would be upgrades even on a stock rebuild. Things like the oil pump, windage tray, self centering roller rockers, porting of heads and a few other key parts without spending big bucks $$$$
