96 mild blazer build

Hello all! I am fairly new to the site so please forgive me if there is already a tread on this. I currently own a 2dr 96 blazer 4.3 5speed. What im looking to do at this point is do some mild work and get some extra power. I need to replace the lifters so i figured i may as well put cams in at the same time... its currently stock but i plan to put a cai, cat back and possibly a programmer as well if i need it. Any input would be greatly apprecaeted! does anyone have exp with doind cams if so what kind of hp gains am i looking at and is it worth it????

Ive done some research and discovered that comp cams makes a few different options for the 4.3. The cam that caught my attention has 110 degrees lobe separation, 252 advertised duration, and 206 duration at 0.050. This should give a nice even torque curve and nice power from a roll and towing. Has anyone tried this cam and how did it turn out?

Also ive come to find that pcm flash is the obvious way to go.
