Aftermarket transmission cooler

Hey everyone, im looking to install an aftermarket transmission radiator on a 96 blazer 4 dr 4x4. Does anyone have any recommendations for me? Main issue is im running warmer than I'd like while 4x4 is engaged. Beach/trails/ and also my DD. Any input would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I believe they are sized by vehicle weight but I just buy the largets plate style I can afford since they cool better but are more expencive.

When you install one run through the radiator, out of the radiator and into the cooler, then back to the transmission. Otherwise you can completely bypass the radiator. Just depends on what sort of temps you are getting. Are you checking the temps with a gauge?

I haven't gotten an exact reading. It is just a guess that the tranny is overheating because I'm in 4wd. Is this something that happens and should I just purchase a plate style cooler and throw it on? My main concern is that on a hot day at the beach, driving on the soft Long Island sand to find a spot my truck starts to get cranky and wants to overheat.
