Default K&N inbox filter hp/torque gain ?

I have searched but couldnt find any info on inbox panel K&N filter power gains.

I have K&N inbox filter, throttle body mod ( restrictive plate behind butterfly has removed)., cat deleted, free flowing exhaust.

In K&N website, they claim 7 hp gain for CAI kit, but no estimation on panel filters.

Considering the mods I have , what kind of gain should I expect ?Just wondering.

I'm sure others who have used the 'butt dyno' will tell you that they can feel a difference with a K&N filter, but I doubt that they put their truck on a real dynamometer before and after installing a filter. I just don't believe that kind of HP gain.

Just an FYI, before and after scanned runs with the removed "restrictor" (actually it is just a deflector) plate were a tad slower at WOT. The engine will only use as much air as it can. If you have not changed the cam or the exhaust manifolds, WOT air demand will not suddenly change when you remove the deflector plate. Part throttle response increased and the increased intake noise was entertaining.

As far as a K&N panel filter, I would venture a guess at 2-3hp tops... Nothing measurable butt or actual dyno wise.

Thanks Kyle,

Ihave realised part throttle response is better, especially in city driving its fun.

For the k&N most profit is being reusable I think.
