Dual Electric Fans (Placement ?)

Hi all,

Simple question today;
installing e fans after work today. The fans are reverseable, is it better/does it matter if they blow or suck? (lol, have fun with that statement)

Thnz,
Jim

The politically correct term is "pusher" , "puller". Mount them inside the radiator and wire them to pull air through .

Pusher puller huh, okay I guess I can live with that; mine was more fun though. Rusty, thank you for the info, that is what I had decided to do basically just because it was easier to mount them there on that side, appreciate the info man thanks a lot

Jim

Yep, kind of defeats the purpose of putting fans that try to push air through the radiator behind when driving down the road is forcing air through the radiator. My guess is you'd overheat rather quickly at speed.

Most aftermarket fans can be wired to be a pusher or puller. OP is just asking which would be best...
