Help!! Clueless!!

Hey guys, I have recently lifted my blazer but now have no power! What do you think I should do?? Mod the 4.3 or do a v8 swap? Dont know much about motors. Is the v8 swap easy? Is it cheap? Any help is appreciated!

v8 swap? nowhere near cheap. Since you lifted it,did you go bigger tires? how big? if so thats your problem. Time to spend $500-$1k to have it regeared.

edit : For the people who found this thread on google. Here is a tip. You CANT add on larger tires and expect everything to be the same. You will notice a loss of power. Its not really engine related you just changed the gear ratio of the axles. You MUST spend the extra money on regearing. So figure out the cost of your lift, then add on 500 bucks+ to have it regeared or enjoy a lack of get up and go and gas mileage.

+1 on what Chris said. Do you know what gears your truck has now? Check the RPO's in the glove box. The most likely two options would be either GT4 - 3.73 gears or GU6 - 3.42 gears. The 3.73 gears are pretty good up to 31" tires, but 3.42's and 31" tires will be very lethargic.

A V8 swap would probably be cheaper than a performance 4.3 for the same power. Regearing will certainly help bring is back to stock feel.
