How often should I change my Fuel Filter? (low mileage Blazer)

I heard you should change Fuel Filter about every 30,000 miles. For many people this is once every year, or every 2 years. But if you drive much less miles like I do, I heard you should change filter every few years anyway due to buildup.

Since I changed the Fuel Filter on my Blazer 4 years ago I have only put 12,000 miles on it, and was wondering how long you think I should wait to change it again?

I recently changed the Fuel Filter on my other car for the first time ever, only because it was 5 years old, also was under 30,000 mile recommendation.

So you think I should wait another year on Blazer, which would be 5 yr/15,000 mile for Fuel Filter change?

Those scam artists at oil change places try to get me to do it every time I go, but I always say no.

Have you read your owner's manual? I would not go over 3 years since you are a low mileage driver.
