HP and Tourqe help?
 

I got an 02 4x4 blazer. I was wondering what some nice mods would be to increase torque and HP. I'm running disk brakes all the way around and I cant even roast my tires. Would it help to convert to drums in rear? Im just looking to increase the power, Its my toy and I wanna have fun with it! Would deleting the cat give it some hp? Im running a glasspack too. Would putting a proper muffler on increase it alot?

When I replaced my muffler with a glasspack I did not notice a gain or loss in power. I can hardly spin my tires right now but I could spin my old ones all day. I have no idea about the disk breaks because mine came with drums.

My old tires were pretty much bald though..

I have a 97 and have a hard time gettingthem not to break free.. everything's pretty much stock. 208000 miles even.regular maintenance only. But before I got it the throttle body mod was already done. If you haven't done this it does give some extra oomph.

What is the throttle body mod?

Awesome, thats pretty cool. Can you buy throttle body blades that come without the defuser?

I don't thank so, but you can pick them up at a junkyard pretty cheap and doit yourself.that's what I did to do my sons.

Also would putting a bigger gear ratio in the rear help? Mines kinda shot anyway, i need to replace it but I dont know whether to go the same or bigger.
