Heck man it probably took you a half hour to write all that haha. Thanks for your input. The only thing I don't like about ebay cai is that they have no heat shields and that is a problem for sure. I went from a 91 f-150 with the 302 with true duel flows to this jimmy with stock exhaust, it's too damn quiet. I need at least single in dual out flows. When I save up I'm going to go back to my stock rims and run 30s. They are an inch and a half less wide as the tires i'm running now, that'll probably add a couple mpgs I hope.

I got the newer muffler installed about 10 months ago & it's sounding better every day still.
I had a couple single in dual out mufflers before in my quest for it to sound more like a truck & not a grocery go-getter.
This straight through Flo Pro single in dual out has suceeded!

Spintech super pro street mufflers are awesome.they sound killer on 4.3's.ive run a flowmaster a glasspack .single chamber imco-cherry bomb.spintech has sounded the best.ive got a 2002 blazer xtreme with cold air intake custom 2.5 exhaust into the spintech super pro street and it sounds good.i get compliments all the time and get starred at when i drive by with the thumbs up sign .also have hypertech power programmer on it to.

Thanks, I don't have it tuned for the cam yet & when that gets done it should help the idle.
If you want it louder cut out the pre cat but keep it so you can put it back in for emissions <-----(I didn't say that) ;-)
