i figured out my mpg today after the CAI
well as you guys know i put the Spectre intake on my blaze a couple weeks ago. before i was getting 15.5 mpg. yesterday i calculated my mpg after the CAI and it turned out to be 17.3!! thats almost another 2 mpg, and its over a 10% increase in fuel efficiency. i was pretty happy i was expecting no more than 1mpg more. so if you havent already put on a cold air intake, i wouldrecommend you do so in the future

Nice. I was getting about 14. But I just did a complete tuneup (really needed it) and will be adding the intake if it ever gets here. I drive a half hour to work averaging 70mph (I take the interstate) daily. I usually get four days driving to and from on one tank. Hoping I can increase that a bit.

defiantely helps.. i didnt have to wait long for mine, i got $3.99 next day shipping:) lol

i was getting about 19-22, i put just the fliter on my stock housing and tubing and such.....so in other words its just a filter on the metal block thing that holds the MAF
well im getting 24.5-26 mpg (high end going about 55-60) and i get 22-23 going about 65-70 anything over that is bad like 75+ = about 15-19 |
I wish I could get a cai. When I had one i went through a puddle and it sucked in all kinds of water, oh well. I sure wish I was getting over 20 mpg thou
|
how big was the puddle? i dont wanna screw up the engine. and damn you get 19-22? that better be 100% highway down hill haha i wish i got that

something about that deep, maybe a little deeper. if you aren't doing much or any offroading don't worry about it sucking in water. |
