MSD Blaster Ignition Coil issues!

Well this is my first post here so bear with me and critique me if i screw something up. Well I put in an MSD Blaster Ignition coil hoping for some better performance and MPGs. Well it ran fine when I installed it but when I was leaving my job, it bogged down a little bit and than ran fine. Then it died in another parking lot. When I got it going again, it lurched like when you don't shift completely right in a stick shift. It says it is a high voltage coil so is it pulling too much current from my already weak battery that might be on its way out. Or did I make some sort of rookie mistake?
Thanks in advance

nope. id say defective unit. replace it or a refund.

Secondary voltage is NOT one of the 4.3 motors' problems. Besides its the plug gap that determines voltage.

Figured out the problem, the hose off the back of where the intake meets the throttle was off (the name escapes me). Rookie mistake I guess :icon_doh:, woops. Thanks for the help though.
