NEED HELP deciding
 

Okay i have a 97 4dr 4x4, So what im having troubles with is that i cant decide on what motor i wanna swap into it. an some people might not like my idea if your not in foreign cars but i have a fully built motor out of a 300zx twin turbo built perfesionally making bout 580hp, but also my buddies dad has a 305 out of his iroc camaro that hes willing to sell me for few bucks with couple goodies. but im not looking to make it into a off roader or a lowered truck just want to go out with the boys cruzin an crap but not sure what to put in. so any input will help

IMHO, 305 :) but maybe it is just me...I'd like to keep the engine in the "family" if ya catch my drift lol but all I can say is you do what you want to do, it ain't my blazer haha

im leaning more towards the 305 now for the blazer, cause my buddy just gave me a couple of parts that fit on my mazda so im possibly gonna swap the 300z motor into that so yeah 305 gonna go in blazer more than likely but thats when i get it back from the bro

mines a 96 and i wish it was a 95 (cause we have emissions) or id put a super charged 350 or blown 383 stroker in mine. it already gets bad gas millage so lose a few more for 2x horespower is ok with me lol. but thats all ok i got a 80 oldsmobile cutlass cruiser gonna hot rod it a lil and rebuild the 350 thats in it.

you can drop a ls1 in your 96 got a buddy that has one in his thats bored .40 over lowere on bags with 20's in back an 18's in front an gutted this thing will run most camaro an stangs in my area, but it will not touch any of the t/a's in my area dont know why
