Default 98+ Bravada axle shaft

So, I'm going to the junkyard Sunday to get a new diff for my truck. They have a bravada in the yard. IF the shaft is still on it, I will have an axle shaft and tube from a 2000 bravada for sale. $100 even, you pay shipping (from 76033)

First one to post here, gets first right of refusal.

I'll update this post Sunday afternoon/evening as to whether my hunt was successful or not

(despite being the newer style slip on cv axle, it will work on the older 95-97 trucks. You just have to get a new style cv axle for the passenger side. I've had it on my 95 this way for a month or so, with no issues)

Dang, nobody is trying to increase the offroad dependability of their trucks by ditching the weak axle disconnect and installing a solid piece of American steel??

Yeah, Don, I bet shipping to the land of moose and maple syrup would be a pretty penny!

Well, I didn't end up pulling it anyway. By the time I hiked around and found one with 3.73 gears, and got it out, I was hot, tired, and filthy. Just ready to go home. It's still there, if anyone decides they need one, let me know, I can make I trip back in a week or two and grab it

All that work and you left it? That sucks! You aloud to bring you own wheelbarrow? Or make a homemade cart? Theres one I go to, 3$ entry but good prices, they provide them... makes it so much easier to pull a set of rims, bumpers and skid plates at once lol... and carry your tools

I had a wheelbarrow. But the diff I needed was on a different truck. The bravada wasn't a 3.73. So I dropped the diff in a Blazer, and by the time that was said and done, I didn't feel like hiking back around to the bravada, busting down the passenger side hub, and pulling it.
