Transmission question

Would a 4l60e that has a code 4kcd work with my 96 blazer? I believe tha trans code means that it was bolted to 2004 5.4l? Bellhousing is different.

What would be the code for 96 4.3l?

perfect. just didn't wanna get to involved in tearing apart an engine. if it were the case I would work on the intake as well as the valve covers

Yes the obvious rust on the rotors. Probably on the drums. It rolled backwards downhill no problem. After having the ebrake on for the 6 months it was parked.

its got like 200k+ and was parked for like 6 months over the winter.
I checked fluids and topped oil up before attempting to fire it up. ran a lil rough at first but seems to run like it did before...

i put gas into my tank. when i drive away i always smell fuel. doesn't matter the amount i fill.
gas cap hisses when i remove it

im pretty sure I have Delayed Engagement. I put it in gear and it takes a couple of seconds to engage.
also when reversing it tends to be a lil more hesitant to go backwards, when it does go...

I go to the gas station and add like 10 bux. Afterwards I smell fuel for a few mins. CEL comes on occasionally but gives a code for an O2 sensor(no CAT) Gas Cap also hisses when removed.

i have 1996 2Dr 4x4. looking for advice on Suspension lift kits or what is required to do so. I want no more than a 3" lift. I have a set of 31x10.50R15s they wont fit unless I lift.
