I just went through a failed head gasket....coolant was being ingested at the rear drivers side cylinder. it started out as a bit of smoke. (not just a puff) and rapidly became a ton of smoke.

the major smoke you have now is probably from cleaning the plenum....You should do a compression check to be sure theres not a bigger problem...

Is it normal for an older 4.3 engine with over 200k miles on it to have oil pressure that starts off cold at 60 and when warm, drive at 40 and drop to 30 at idle?
