RE: park not holding

The indicator (not the technical term, I know) slides past P, doesn't it? Is the shifter loose?

RE: NEED help with fuel filter

I bought a new fuel filter a couple of weeks ago. I've been putting off the operation because the old one is rusted on. I'm betting it's from the factory.

RE: Black soot coming from tail pipe

This is a classic Blazer problem. Please, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the dumping of the fuel lead to the clogging of the EGR valve, and then the loss of braking power? I believe...

RE: phantom acceleration

Thank you. I'll post the results after I clean it.

EDIT:

Do vacuum leaksalways/most often result in loss of braking power?

RE: phantom acceleration

Rather than start a new thread, I thought I'd state my problem here due to the similarities. A few days ago I changed my spark plugs, wires, and oil in hopes of getting a smoother idle/acceleration....

RE: Blazer Fuel Pump Problem

Mine went out last year. I was going downhill and it just died and took the brakes with it. It was pretty damn frightening, but not as bad as the $500 it cost to have replaced. And yeah, mine is loud...

RE: Power Window Motor

I've had my interior panel off my 93a few times due to the fact that the window's roller likes to jump out of the bracket every few months. Take off the trim piece on the rear of the door, then...

RE: New Guy From Fl

It's beautiful, it looks just like mine, but with a few differences. I have a bugflector, ventshades, and a spare on the back.

RE: Heater core location??

I drive a 93and mine went out right before winter started. Three places gave me estimates just shy of $400. I didn't have the cash to spare, so I replaced it myself last weekend. I got my heater core...

Hi guys, great forum. I've been lurking for a day or two, thought I'd make it official. I've had my 93 S10 Blazer for 5 years and I wouldn't trade it for any other vehicle. At least that's what I...
