well i did the relearn and switched out the map...

well i did the relearn and switched out the map sensor... at first it seemed to be better, buts its about the same. the map sensor seems to have been a waste of my money.

called a few auto parts stores, all said no for passlock system, not necessarily true though. Just had it hooked up to a code scanner and it says MAP or manifold absolute pressure Sensor.

well the 'symptoms' of my truck have sort of changed... so maybe it could give more insight on what may be wrong. Now, if it goes overnight without starting, it does the turn over - but no start...

sorry for the delay... finally got my...

sorry for the delay... finally got my dash/cluster board taken out and checked, and come to find out, there is NO bulb where security would light up. There's actually a few empty spots with no bulbs....

I definitely thought that was the cause since I didnt have this problem until the switch... but i dont see a security light flashing.

That's what I figured ... tried turning the key on for 15 minutes, 3 times, then try to start (to reset the computer?) Didnt really seem to work. do you know what would fix that problem?

we already used the fuel pressure gauge to check all of that, everything was perfect (boyfriends buddys works at a shop and helped us out) but noone ive asked can understand why it does this?...

i have an automatic 96 jimmy 4wd and replaces the ignition lock cylinder because it was becoming hatd or impossible to turn. before switching it out, it started up...after replacing the lock cylinder...
