Well I got to looking at it tonight after...

Well I got to looking at it tonight after work.when the garage changed the intake gasket they ran the plug wires between the brake booster and the vacuum lines that one had a flat spot rubbed on it...

why not start with the exhaust leak and try that.depending on where it is it should not be to bad (or expensive)to fix.then if it still is doing it then i would try the cat.

in my wifes 99 blazer when you are accelerating the blower motor slows way down until you ease up on the throttle.could this be a vaccum leak?i didnt think the motor was controlled by vaccum.
