Exclamation Will a 2001 4l60e blazer input shaft work in a 2004 4l65 e transmission?

Will a 2001 4l60e blazer input shaft work in a 2004 4l65 e transmission? The 2001 has a pilot on the end of the input shaft , the 2004 input shaft does not.

I hope these pics help. As you can see the end of the input shafts are different. I had to change the bell and tail housings. The PRNDL switch is different and I had to change that too.
