Not worth the price for a 4" speaker... I have only heard the focal polyglass 6.5 comps, and while they were nice, I believe there is much better stuff out there for less money.. Just my honest...

Thats not totally correct. I was told by Jason Paul (Cadence rep./ guru) that some of thier amps actually have an external gain control nob.... I believe it was a select few of the 2 or 4 channel...

I would choose to go with comps. You dont have to do kicks, just stick the 6" in the door in the factory location, and find a place to custom mount the tweeters. it shouldnt be that much work at all....

I had my alternator rewound for a few extra amps 15-20... but it needed rebuilt anyways. I would suggest running 0/1 ga wire and upgrading the big 3. That should be plenty for 1000w amp on a stock...
