Gas in my oil though means im getting too much somehow. And i have an HEI distributer with a new cap rotor and coil pack. I haven't yet checked my intake gasket though i'll check that.

alright, it had a quadjet on it and the the one i was having problems with...soo we took another quadjet that my friend used to have on his truck and put it on there and it did the same exact thing....

aight thanks....ima try puttin a different carb on tomarrow to see how that goes then ill know and if thats it then i can totally rebuild mine or get a new ont thats not such a piece of crap

i put on a new booster and now it stops better than it ever did. The real pain in the put for that was getting the shaft screwed into the one on the brake pedal. It was worth in now though. Thanks...

yeah i know it's not air in the lines. And the hissing is right where the rod goes into the booster.

i understand what your saying. But i still don't get why my front brakes can't bleed. I know that the problem isn't air in the line but still. So do you say i go ahead and replace the booster?

ok i just tried to bleed them and the rears bled ok but the fronts wont at all, i open the valve and nothing happens. what coudl it be?

Ive got 33" Dueler A/T's on my 81 Jimmy and they at least look good. I have been able to take them out and try them in mud or snow or anthying yet.

Thats not that bad, With my 2.8 Fiero GT with a 5 speed i averaged 15 or 16 in town and got 27 highway. The 2.8 just isn't much an economical V6.
