The battery Tested at 12.8 Volts when the car was off, and 14.8 Volts when running (no lights/Accessories) which is what I read to do when testing the alternator. So that seemed to pass

It's 1995...

Alright thanks, I won't run it for fear of wrecking a good A/C system, and I'll try putting in an diode. What am I looking at to have it evacuated and refilled?
