I just did my truck with it, and it didnt turn out bad at all. I didn't do the entire truck. just the wheel wells rocker/beltline and my bumpers. I'll get some pictures of the finished product up...

Have you tried a skim layer of body filler on it? Thats probly your best bet to get it looking smooth and flushed in, considering its real easy to build up layers and comes out alot nicer then just...
