77 K5 Questions

Hey guys,

Haven't posted here in about a year but just have a few ?'s so rather than starting a new thread I figure'd I'd dig this one up.

So, I got the tranny in and it was acting quite weird...

Sorry I'm kinda blonde LOL. I don't see a purple wire and what do you mean by the "S" terminal? There is only a red that comes from the battery and a red that goes to the ignition (I think) and...

I think I figured out where all the wires go. The positive from the battery goes on the main pole and the one that goes up to the key switch goes on the same pole with it. Then there is 1 left that...

Update on the transmission: I looked on car-parts.com and found a used Tranny with a 30 day guarantee for $200 plus $65 shipping. He said that the torque converter was not included. So I'm assuming...

Both the doors were replaced right before it was painted because they were quite rusty...that may account for the gaps on the drivers side door. I don't think it leans at all...how would I tell if...

Well guys, I just made the deal. I will be picking it up tomorow. There is a local tranny shop that most guys around here use; I will probably just have them rebuild it for me. Oh, and I don't think...

Thanks guys for your replies. I'm pretty sure that I will end up getting it...I mean what's there to loose? I found a tranny off of car-part.com for only $200 so I will probably just get it or else...

Hi everyone! I'm a noob to this forum. I am considering a 77 Blazer K10 with a blown transmission. I can pick it up for about $250; the engine runs awesome and the body and inside are in good shape....
