RE: '00 Blazer oil leak

Its probably the remote oil filter gasket. I know mine needs replacing and I am planning on undertaking that soon. Should replace the lines to it while you are at it.

RE: Odd surging problem

If it was the EGR, MAF, or TPS sensor wouldn't it be sending a code and thus turning on my Check engine light?

Also I think the catalytic convertor needed to be replaced anyways. After it was...

RE: Odd surging problem

Ok got the catalytic convertor replaced yesterday. It did NOT solve the problem. So the next idea is to replace the fuel filter since I have one laying around anyways. And if that does not solve the...

Leaving it in 1st till 5k rpm isn't going to kill it or anything. Heck everyone that jumps on their blazer from a stop does that occasionally at least. If it was the catalytic convertor I think that...

Odd surging problem

Well as the title states my blazer has started surging today. I first noticed it when I went on some offroading today. While going up the hills with hard acceleration it started to surge. So I took...

RE: Blazer Zr2.. Bastard stepchild?

Spacers should work for both the normal blazer and the zr2, they should have the same bolt pattern and all. Also most online places won't sell just leaf springs. Best bet is to find an area around...

RE: sway bars the same?

Ok so I found out what the problem was. I kept looking for blazers and they actually have the 4WD parts listed under S10 pickups. So they will work.

RE: sway bars the same?

Well that might make sense if I could find 2 seperate part numbers lol. But the only ones I can find are for 2WD. 1 for the front sway bar and 1 for the rear.

RE: Need Shock Advice ASAP!

I went with Ranchos and like them. But they do give a much stiffer ride, so you will feel the bumps more.

RE: shift kit??

A stall convertor is the same thing as a torque convertor. More than likely he just got one with a higher rpm limit.

So with the old one you could've launched (hold down brake, rev up motor...

RE: Whats the smoothest , best riding shock for our blazers???

I put Ranchos on my Blazer and they are a bit stiffer than stock. Have a decent ride though, but they are also meant for some offroad use so they will not be as gentle as other shocks.

Also one...

Have you checked to see if anything is rubbing on the tires/wheels/rims when you are driving. That could be a possible explanation.

RE: Cold Air Intake ATS sensor popped out

Well with my father in laws I actually used it to push it away from the inner fender where the intake filter hit. But I do imagine that it would be able to do the same thing with your master cylinder.
