OK, that makes sense. I replaced the brake control module (EBCM) when I got the truck. I assume that the BCM can't communicate with it because the vin or id number does not match the vehicle.

Ok, warm day today. Temp at about 40 F (3 c). Blazer has been on the road immediately prior for one hour.

Is there a way to test the ignition switch assembly? Mechanically, the tumbler and key show no significant wear and functions fine. I'm assuming the fault would be in the Passlock sensor.
