mysterious transmisssion leak

1998 4L60 E 4 wd...has anyone experienced transmisssion fluid loss with no apparent cause.
I lose app. 1 quart in 1,000 miles, but there is no evidence of the leak except on the dipstick.

Dexcool and "regular" coolant mix is not a problem, that gunk looks like "sealing" compound that was added over time....I have been running a mix for years....

Part no for seals: 17113205. It is a universal kit with parts for v-8's as well...put the seals in the meter housing, then pop in the lines....

Well, I found the part no, 17113214, but I do not want to buy the entire pipe assy., only the O rings..any ideas?

1998 4.3, csefi: I have a massive leak where the supply / return pipe enters the fuel meter. (yellow, black O ring etc).... what is the part no. for replacement parts.

I am looking to plow with a 98 also, with the zr2 option, Myers plow recommends RPO "ZM6", which happens to be "offroad suspension" i think at least a 1500 truck would be better...any comments?

The lever works with a rack and pinion gearset....the pinion locks when you press the lever...that is why you do not hear the normal ratchet sound.....Thanks for the info on GM parts direct!...PM
