OK.

I posted the second post to try to see if any GM mechs were out there and not just shade tree guessing (not that I am calling you that), but geeze you seem pretty impatient with new members....

Well, I definitely heard and felt an engagement in Low range. I know that when you select 4x4 high that you won't feel the engagement (its smooth). I think it is engaging, but can't figure out why...

I posted a 4x4 question yesterday, but haven't had much feedback. I am looking at possibly buying a 99 S10 Blazer (Trailblazer package) and when I drove it the 4x4 High/Auto/Low lights would continue...

No, I can hear 4x4 Low engage, but the light continually blinks just like the high range.

It doesn't matter if I have moving or not. The lights just blink. Like I said though, when stopping and selecting low range I can hear it engage. So I don't know if 4x4 high engages or not because I...

Yeah, I was going to offer him 4500. I think he'll take it and its worth that. KBB shows the value around 4900 (I think it was), edmunds shows it in the lower 4's and NADA had it between 4200 - 5400....

I have owned 3 S10 Blazers in the past 12 years, but have never owned one long enough to put over 70,000 miles on it. I am looking at a 2000 ZR2 which looks very clean. It has 148,000 miles on it....
