yea a used car is a used car I just bought an 01 blazer drove it 500 miles home not one problem out of it got up the next day to go to work and the trans went on it. Of course the 98 blazer I drove...

price is a little out of my range but the best I have done around here is 30 for a rebuilt with updates and a vette servo I am thinking probably the most I can come up with right now is about 7 to 800

ddepends on where and the price I sometimes go up there I'm trying for beefier I'm running 31s on it right now but funds are limiting me on what I can get just looking for the best price.

I just bought a 2001 blazer and of course a week after I buy it I lose 3rd and 4th gear. figures it has 92000 miles on it I should have known anyway just wondering if anybody knows of any good places...

just to update everybody it is the fuel pump banged on the gas tank and instantly the fuel pressure guage jumped up to 60 psi so I get that fun adventure thanks for all of your help

ok so I checked the fuel pressure and it does not even move the needle so I guess at this point it has to be something involved with the pump either lack of power or the pump not sure how to use the...

ok heres an upate checked the relay under the hood for the fuel pump still good so thats out just bought a pressure tester going to do that next. Also the antifreeze is leaking down te front of the...

actually no that completely slipped my mind I instantly thought fuel pump when it would crank but wouldn't start i'm going to get a fuel pressure guage in a few minutes to rule out the fuel pump...

ok so drove my 98 blazer 4x4 yesterday ran fine no problems at all got home and shut it off. It sat for a couple hours went back out to go to the store and nothing the truck just cranks occasionally...

from what I have read and from what I know about my truck sounds like atleast a bad rag joint on the steering shaft here is another post that talks about all of it hope this helps...

not sure how accurate this is but I have been told and I believe I read it on here that the trans can use overdrive in 3rd and 4th gear as well like I said though not sure how accurate that...

another suggestion on this one as my truck does the same thing is the tc solenoid nothing wrong with the transmission but the solenoid that locks the torque converter fails and causes it to lunge...

the fuel spider is the black thing on top of your intake manifold that actually injects the fuel into the manifold

ya I just went out and checked it the plug wires are connected exactly according to the numbers on the cap and it is 3 - 1 - 5 on the drivers side sorry I was going off of memory

as far as everything that I have seen the spark plug wires are in the correct firing order i have the plug wires hooked up in order starting at the front 1 - 3 - 5 on drivers side and 2 - 4 - 6 on...

Ok so in my 98 blazer I just got done replacing the intake manifold gaskets, oil cooler lines, spark plugs and wires, distributor cap and rotor button. The problem is now that I have everything back...

not sure if this is relevant or not or if it will help anyone as I have not confirmed it as of yet I just bought my 98 blazer it seems to have the same problem surges and sputters around 1500 to 2500...
