Unhappy unable to read codes

I have a 95 blazer with a 16 pin OBDII connection and no code reader can read my codes.
is there any other way to get the codes? my service engine light is on and I really need to know what's wrong....

the hubs are a little tricky, but if you work at it from 3 sides prying and using a rubber mallot, it will come off. there are only 3 bolts.

I went ahead and bought a new set of lines and removed the old lines. I'm trying to put the new lines on and they will not feed back onto the car. Is there some trick to getting the new lines on?

The leak is from one of the lines from the filter mount to the engine. It's in the rubber part of the line. Can I repair or must I replace the line?
