posi cable / actuator question

2000 Jimmy.

When installing a posi-lok cable do you leave the vacuum actuator hooked up or do you want to re-route the vacuum lines so they don't go through the actuator?

rear axle narrower than the front

What's the best way to make my rear axle width match the front width? The rear axle is 2 inches narrower and now that I noticed it it's driving me nuts.

2000 jimmy front 4wd

Do one or both front wheels lock when in 4 wheel?
I assume just one (front right?)

So with a gov-lock rear it's really a 3 wheel drive...correct?

I have a gov-lock rear end from a 2001 Blazer and want to install it into my 2000 Jimmy.

Is it easier to swap the complete axle or the guts of the axle into existing axle?

p1870 code

I'm replacing the tcc valve since i'm getting the p1870 code and the symptoms that go with the code. I'm using the fitzall tcc valve.

Is it a bad idea to replace it without removing the valve...
