go through any of the rubber groments on the firewall, then under the carpet . Just silicone up where you sliced the groments and they will be okay.

driveline out of balance, orbad U-joint. Thats alot of rotating mass going if you are gettin up into overdrive in 4 hi. do you need 4 hi that often as to be runnin down the highway in overdrive?

steering boxes seldom go bad. They leak when seals go out and whine if worm gear is worn. Check the rag joint and coupler for play just above the steering box going toward the firewall. If need be...

pry not. you have to change tail shaft housing and shaft. Advanced Adapters makes kits for this and they arent cheap. look in a junkyard, pry gonna have to give $600-$1000 for a good used one....

need more info. are ya losing power when it revs up. could be losing a gear in tranny and it is slipping. usually happens in 1st and reverse rather than the higher gears though.

air filter? clogged Catalytic converters maybe. bad gas? clogged TBI injector? I'd go with the catalytic. is the the exhaust makin any poppin noises. if it is clogged it is just like stickin bananas...
