OK, Had 4WD actuator problem so I replaced the transfer case vacuum switch (PITA) and blew out the vacuum lines and vent to the switch-problem fixed! but I see the tranny fluid in the vacuum line...

try pulling fuse 13(I believe) lettin it sit then replace --this resets something , either the pushbutton set or the encoder not sure but it sometimes worked for me
