Not sure about the '98s, but I have a '99 and there is a release that allows the entire headlight housing to move forward. That make changing the bulb significantly easier.

The bolts in the back of the truck are held in with a T50 Torx. I would use a 3/8 rachet or an impact gun.

Mount the sub box to the rear deck where the tie downs are located. Just remove the tie downs and install a bolt through the bottom of the box through the existing holes in the floor.
