I'm having the same problem on my 97 4x4 blazer it only seems to do it under normal acceleration. Under light and heavy acceleration its fine, but under normal acceleration it seems to miss fire...

I never done a cv axle on a blazer but I have done them on other cars and usually I get them out by getting a pry bar and putting it between where the axle meets the diff and moving the pry bar back...
