i dont know if 98s have this issue but my 97 does; and since lanny mentioned the ignition switch im assume it does as well. so im gonna step up and say what a wacky damn issue finding out my truck...

oh ya forgot how did i make it spark? . i took cable off, grounded it. its spark was not perfect but i would swear good enough to spark ignition. ? coil, wires, cap and check next. thnks again lanny.

97 4 door 2wd 100k miles 4.3 v6 blazer wont turn over.

on freeway driving home engine seemed to almost choke on something like it was having an epileptic seizure. let off pedal back to normal...

looking at the car from the underbelly, i see a 4-6 inch perfect circle opening (factory) at the rear of the motor where it meets the transmission... this opening seems odd... i can see the spinning...

kill me now, all three fluids draining like a vein

man i just fixed my 97 blazer w/ an electrical parasitic drain, ignition switch horror, starting/stalling 1 month +- long nightmare... and within minutes of changing the oil /filter myself i notice...

AS OF LAST NIGHT ~i did check the fuse(S) AREA ONE AT A TIME ... thought i was getting two fuses drawing 10+- ... but i using a volt meter and i understand that a volt meter is not the correct thing...

i replaced the ignition switch and it was like the light from heaven blinded me... my 2 year blinking...

i have a 97 blazer and i am a really good observer/detective. My car would not hold a charge, actually would not start if not driven daily. if sat for more than 24+ hours it would not...
