Yes there is a staple in the back of the shifter, use a screwdriver to pull it out. Find a shifter that can clamp down on the rod.

There nice, no wire cutting needed for the turns, and there a little loose compared to oem but i used twist ties in the back instead...

Talking FIX Shaky Headlights new retainer clips

A nice trick my buddy figured out,

Ditch the Plastic retainer clips and use zip ties.

There justa tad wider and will pulll the nubs father away thus giving the lights a stronger retainer.

Used Hercules Kit from Autozone.

Blue painters taped off the areas, scurbbed with steel wool, aceton cleaned, painted.

Rolls on and dab...

whet a little different but worked

The fitting was stuck but i got the filter cranked on by rotating the filter on to it till tight, looks good , no leaks. I geuss that worked :icon_wink:

Cuz the front end of filter rotates freely...
