On my 86 K5 with 305 Edelbrock intake/carb, the 1st 2nd shift is really hard. Also sometimes after it shifts into OD it will stay in it for a minute then shift back and forth from 3rd to 4th.

Cheap sway bar disconnects

This is K5 related, but are there any cheaper sway bar disconnects other than the kit ORD's offers? I hate spending $100 on a kit that cost probably under $50 to make.

Frame rot, To fix or not to fix

My 86 I just picked up has some problems with frame rot. Is this fixable or should I junk it and start over? Even the drivers side rear shackle is bent inward.

I found out the problem. The last owner replaced the back peice that the hinges bolted to, but didnt drill it out to install the hinges.
Looks like Ill be getting the drill and tap set out!

Tailgate hinge repair

The rear hinges on my 86 are gone. So therefore I have no tailgate. Is there a good easy way to repair this so I can put tailgate back on? Pictures are always good also.

95 tailgate latch broke

My tailgate latch broke while trying to open the back to get items out the other day. The window opens, but the tailgate handle inside doesnt do anything. Is there a way to get it open and fix this?
