I painted mine last summer with rattle cans....

I painted mine last summer with rattle cans. first I got everything off down to bare aluminum. then I used dupli-color zinc chromate primer.... yellow stuff....2 or 3 coats. need good ventilation....

yeah, there seems to be a few 97's around. I just may look into one. found a zr2 2003 apparently needs 4x4 actuator motor and only has 160,000 km. $2000

probably be gone by the time I scrape...

well Diaita said 98 and up are the best 2nd gens, so I will go with that. I will not be beating the crap outta this vehicle, I am 47 and a little past that ;)....besides that is what the sonoma is...

thanks diaita. so none of my spare parts for my 93 will fit 98? it doesn't really matter, was just thinking I could have 1 inventory of spare parts for 2 vehicles :) I will look around for a 98. BTW...

seems to me everything is basically interchangeable up to 97 and 98 is different? are nv 3500, gu6, hubs and axles all interchangeable?

what is best year blazer?

new here. ok so I own a 93 sonoma 4wd and am looking to buy a blazer/jimmy in the next couple weeks around 1995-99.

I have tons of extra parts for the sonoma(trannys, diffs,suspension and so on)...
