So you're saying the plugs could be wired incorrectly and the vehicle would operate mostly as normal except for the above mentioned issue?

I'm experiencing the exact same issue after recently getting mine back from an electrical system tune up. New plugs, wires, and distributer cap cleaned. I don't know what type of plugs they used....

Final update. Apparently the same mechanic didn't want to work on the vehicle anymore. I called my AAA car care center that I've used before with my previous car and told them I needed a starter....

haven't had any issues yet, seems to be running well again. It starts a little different now than before possibly due to new spark plugs? it sounds like the flywheel spins at least a second or two...
