Werd on that...that actually happened on my truck once...it was just a bad connector on the accumulator making the compressor engage on and off wildly...new plug, compressor is like a champ now...

I feel it like below the driver's seat...it is not loud, it's like when it engages the reverse and the truck takes more time to engage reverse than to engage drive...

I want to know if this is normal...when I change gear from park to reverse or from drive to neutral to reverse, the truck shakes a bit...not that much but you can hear the tranny switching...

Maybe it is lacking fuel...check the fuel pressure...chevy 4.3's eat fuel pumps...

Remember that temp., wind resistance, track, and others are important factors...if your times are not taken with the same parameters your times will not be consistent...

Can't remember the exact diameter... I believe it was 2-3/4"...go quote it at your local muffler shop and they'll help you out on that...

You have to have it custom made @ a muffler shop...this made my truck gain the low end I lost after I installed the muffler...my 4.3 now sounds like a 5.3!

Your FIPK 2 will work even better if you install a flowmaster, gibson or any type of muffler...now that the engine is inhaling good, it needs exhaling...after I got the custom y-pipe the truck woke...

It is a truck, true...but I have driven Explorers, Montero Sports, 4runners, Jeeps, (all were made in the same/similar years) and none of them have that shaky, rattle inside the car!

I am getting 12mpg since about 2 months ago but I need to change an 02 sensor and the fpr AND I have a heavy foot...15mpg is not THAT bad...our trucks are gas hogs!

Removed and cleaned the throttle body with carb cleaner...cleaned the MAF with electrical cleaner and the truck felt like a champ again...

You can get it done at your local exhaust shop...just be sure that they don't mess up your 02 sensor by your cat...I'd really recommend this...

This is a different engine than the one used on the Equinox, right?
That model seems to me like the predecessor of the Blazer but it has less power?
