Thanks Les gonna ohm out harness, and compare to spare first, May find a loose connection and want to make sure harness is good and not shorted or grounded causing ECU to fry.

Checked compression again sitting between 180-185 on all 6 cylinders. Swapped ICM just to test and no joy, did timing light and is spot on. So thinking harness or ecu. Will swap them out and see how...

Thank you for all the responses, I will try starter fluid and see if it starts up. I do have a complete spare harness and ecu bought a running parts blazer(rusted out) exactly for this reason...

Dont quote me on this but I believe you can swap the fuel pump from a tbi setup, which would lower you fuel pressure closer to what you need and still run the fuel pressure regulator like your friend...

Looking at getting the block hot washed, bored 30 over and internally ballanced, was quoted 600 for this what has others paid. This does not include dissassembly or reassembly.

Look into the throttle body injection runs between 6-8 psi vice the fuel injected which I want to say is around 12. Should run off your stock fuel pump.
